Challenge: I was approached by wedding venue company Swancar to create, manage and implement a content marketing plan.
What I did: I set about dissecting the company's customer base. I then identified blogs and content that would resonate with each demographic. The content plans came in three month segments, enabling me to 'upsell' and adapt and learn from successes and failures.
I created two blogs per week, which were SEO rich. The SEO content ensured I targeted local areas integral to Swancar's customer base. Topics varied from general wedding themes to blogs centered around key business objectives.
As well as a blog plan. I managed an advertising budget with which I created content and implemented sponsored posts across social, targeting recently engaged individuals - something which the company hadn't embarked on before.
Instagram was an under utilised tool for the company, but I introduced techniques such as hashtag jacking and brand building. As well as these techniques, I created Instagram-specific content for sponsored posts.
